A Spectrum of Services for Older Adults
Through its network of affiliated locations, Central DuPage Hospital provides a range of services including health screenings, fitness programs, state-of-the-art treatments, home healthcare services.
The older we get, the greater our risks become for cancer, stroke, diabetes, heart disease and many other conditions. In many cases, detecting illness early translates to better results from treatment.
Throughout the year, Central DuPage Hospital offers health screenings aimed at early detection. For your convenience, we conduct some screenings, such as blood pressure or diabetes screenings, at community-based locations throughout DuPage County. Other screenings, such as mammograms, require more advanced technologies.
Whether at the hospital or in the community, we encourage you to take advantage of these screenings for early detection.
Home Health Services for Seniors
For many older adults, the freedom to remain living in their own homes is a treasured option. Yet, as adults age, they may need assistance with day-to-day activities, such as bathing and dressing, shopping or daily medications.
CNS Home Health and Hospice, along with Caring Choices, provides helpful services that enable aging adults to live independently as long as possible. We draw from a broad array of service options to meet each individual’s needs. Lifestyle services might include companionship and light housekeeping, bathing and grooming, or shopping and transportation. More advanced services could include skilled nursing care, blood draws and lab tests, cardiac nursing, psychiatric nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, wound care or hospice care. Employees are bonded and insured.
