Caring Choices: Professional Support Helps Seniors Live Independently

Living longer and maintaining independence can present challenges, as well as opportunities. Caring Choices addresses the challenges and personal needs that may arise as people age – needs such as assistance with household tasks or personal hygiene.

Caring Choices is the private duty division of CNS Home Health and Hospice. With reliable, cost-effective and compassionate private duty services, Caring Choices offers peace of mind to aging, disabled or otherwise incapacitated adults and their family members.

Services

Services are flexible, to fit each individual’s needs. Our schedule can span from once a week to around-the-clock care seven days per week.

The staff can assist with:

  • Activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, delivering groceries and running errands, light household tasks or meal preparation
  • Companionship for an individual who is socially isolated
  • Administering medications, changing Foley catheters, blood or urine draws for lab testing

The Team

The care professional who comes to your home should be someone you can trust and depend upon. Caring Choices staff members are bonded, trained, insured and carefully screened. The team includes:

  • A registered nurse, who supervises all care and leads the team
  • Staffing coordinator

Location and Hours

On-call staff serving DuPage county and surrounding areas, available 24 hours, 7 days a week

Are Services Covered?

Caring Choices services are provided on a private-pay basis. However, some long-term care plans, commercial health insurance and worker compensation plans may cover some of these services. We can assist you in checking with your insurance provider.
