Lake Zurich Student Will Bring Bear to School

WINFIELD, Ill., December 16, 2010 – Lake Zurich Middle School seventh grader Nic Zanichelli will have a school day he and his classmates will never forget. Zanichelli’s name was selected from hundreds entered online in a contest sponsored by Central DuPage Hospital (CDH) and CBS Radio Chicago to receive a personal visit at school by Chicago football player #63 Roberto Garza.

Garza is looking forward to meeting Zanichelli and his friends early in the new year. Along with a visit to his classroom, the offensive lineman will speak at an assembly of Zanichelli’s entire school about how he stays healthy to be strong and tough enough to compete in the NFL. As a contest bonus, all students from Lake Zurich Middle School will receive a NFL Play60 watch.

CDH and CBS RADIO Chicago sponsored this contest as a part of the NFL-sponsored program “Play60,” a national youth health and fitness campaign focused on increasing the wellness of young fans by encouraging them to be active for at least 60 minutes a day.
