Robert Friedberg

Robert Friedberg is Executive Vice President of Cadence Health and President of Delnor Hospital. Mr. Friedberg joined the organization in 2004, and has held a number of senior leadership roles at both Central DuPage and Delnor hospitals, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer of Delnor and Executive Vice President of System Operations and Integrated Services for the health system.

Mr. Friedberg has extensive experience as a healthcare executive. Prior to joining Cadence Health, Mr. Friedberg served as Senior Administrator at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. In addition to managing various departments within the Medical Center, he was responsible for operational and financial improvements across the enterprise.

Mr. Friedberg also held the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Vanguard MacNeal Health Network, a 427-bed hospital and healthcare system based in Berwyn, Illinois. In addition to his professional position, Mr. Friedberg serves as Trustee for the Village of Glen Ellyn.

Mr. Friedberg earned his bachelor’s degree in Health Systems Management from the University of Rochester, New York, and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
