Patrick Towne, MD

Patrick Towne, MD, is President of Cadence Physician Group. He has been serving the organization since 1999, when he joined Cadence Health as a practicing internist with Cadence Physician Group. He began serving as medical director of Cadence Physician Group in 2007 and was appointed to his current position in 2013. Dr. Towne continues to practice internal medicine on a part-time basis with Cadence Physician Group.

During his tenure at Cadence Health, Dr. Towne also spent several years serving as medical director of the Physician Assistant program at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, as well as medical director for Wynscape Skilled Nursing Facility and Wyndemere Retirement Community, both in Wheaton.

In addition to his professional positions, Dr. Towne is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Director’s Association.

Dr. Towne earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his medical degree from Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Maywood. He completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident.
