Andrew Palumbo is Vice President of Physician and Ambulatory Services for Cadence Health. He is responsible for the development and operations of the health system’s employed physician network, including Cadence Physician Group, Cadence Convenient Care and Cadence Occupational Health. He has been serving the organization since 2011.
Prior to joining Cadence, Mr. Palumbo served as vice president of business affairs at Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group, Chicago. He also held positions as executive director of an independent physicians association, a healthcare services industry consultant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and as founding member of the Tiber Group, a healthcare advisory firm.
In addition to his professional position, Mr. Palumbo currently serves on the board of directors and is the corporate secretary for CommunityHealth, Illinois’ largest all-volunteer free clinic.
Mr. Palumbo earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, and an MBA in finance and healthcare administration from the University of Chicago.
